This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how CleanerConnect LLC ("CleanerConnect," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects personal information through our mobile application, web platform, and affiliated services (collectively, the "Platform"). CleanerConnect is a Delaware-based entity operating globally and committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with:

- PIPEDA – Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada)
- LFPDPPP – Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (Mexico)
- CCPA/CPRA – California Consumer Privacy Act / California Privacy Rights Act (USA)
- CalOPPA, COPPA, and other state/federal regulations
By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.
1. Eligibility
The Platform is intended only for individuals aged 18 or older residing in the United States, Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom or European Union member states. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If we learn such data has been collected, we will promptly delete it in compliance with applicable child privacy laws.
2. Definitions
- "Personal Data": Information that directly or indirectly identifies an individual.
- "Processing": Any operation performed on personal data, whether automated or manual.
- "Controller": Entity determining the purposes and means of processing personal data.
- "Processor": Entity processing data on behalf of a controller.
- "Sensitive Data": Includes government IDs, health, biometric, or precise location data requiring enhanced safeguards.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information You Provide
- Full name, profile photo
- Email address, phone number, password (via Firebase)
- Service addresses
- Preferences, bios, language settings, availability
- Uploaded files or photos
- Reviews, messages, or support messages
3.2 Automatically Collected Data
- Device type, OS, browser, IP address
- Unique device identifiers
- Location (with permission)
- App usage logs, diagnostics, crash data
3.3 Third-Party Sources
- Sign-in data via Google, Apple, or Firebase
4. Purpose of Data Collection
4.1 Service Delivery

5. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We only share it under these circumstances:
5.1 Service Providers
We engage third-party processors for:
- Cloud services (Firebase, Heroku, Google Cloud)
- Authentication (Firebase, Apple, Google)
- Communication (Resend, Zendesk)
- Analytics (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Google Analytics)

5.2 Organizational Access and Information Sharing
Access to your personal information within an organization is managed by that organization. Your information may be shared with team members, managers, property owners, and other authorized users as necessary to facilitate appointments, cleaning tasks, invoicing, and related platform functions.
5.3 Legal Compliance
We may disclose data:
- In response to subpoenas or court orders
- To enforce our rights or protect others
5.4 Business Transactions
Your data may be transferred if we undergo:
- Merger or acquisition
- Bankruptcy
- Asset sale
We will notify affected users of any material changes.
5.6 Location Sharing
Location sharing is opt-in.
- When enabled, your approximate location (city/state) may be visible to other users.

Creating or accepting an appointment gives explicit consent to share the full property address with
participants in that appointment.
- This applies even if device-level location sharing is disabled.
- Address sharing is limited to that specific appointment context.
- The full service address may be automatically shared with eligible users nearby when submitting an urgent request.
5.7 Teams Information Sharing
If you use our Teams feature:
- Your information is only shared with the main account holder who granted you access
- The main account holder can see all team members' full profile information including addresses
- You may request removal from a Team at any time through the app settings or by contacting the main account holder
5.8 Property Access Data
When scheduling appointments, users may provide property access information (including but not limited to):
- Entry codes or door combinations
- Smart lock credentials
- Gate access instructions
- Special entry requirements
Sharing and Visibility:
- Access information is only shared with users specifically linked via appointments
- Data becomes visible only after the receiving user accepts the appointment request
- Information remains accessible only during the scheduled appointment duration
- All access data is automatically hidden from view after appointment completion
- Historical access data is permanently deleted from our systems and from all local device storage, including user devices, after 72 hours.
User Controls:
- You may modify or revoke property access information up to 1 hour before the scheduled appointment time
- Changes made within 1 hour of appointment time may require manual communication with the service provider
- You can review all currently shared access information in your "Scheduler" section
User Responsibilities:
- Vetting Providers: We strongly recommend properly vetting service providers before sharing any access information
- Verification: Always confirm you're sending access information to the correct, intended service provider
- Timely Updates: You may modify or revoke property access information up to 1 hour before the scheduled appointment
- Review: Verify all shared access information in your "Scheduler" section
5.9 Profile Visibility Controls
When you choose to hide your profile or property:
- General Visibility: Immediately removes your profile/property from public search results and discovery maps
- Limited Exceptions:
- Visible to users who favorited your profile/property (until they remove it)
- Visible to users with existing or past appointments with you
- Full Removal
Requirements:
- For Service Providers: Account deletion required for complete profile removal
- For Property Owners:
- Individual property listings deletion required for complete removal
- Account deletion required for complete profile removal
- Blocking: Individual users can be blocked to revoke their access
Important Note for Property Owners: Even when hidden or after full deletion, basic information may remain visible in appointment histories and transaction records to maintain app functionality for other users. This includes:
- Property name and address
- Dates/times of past appointments
- Transaction amounts
- Service descriptions
6. Your Mobile Privacy Controls
You have multiple ways to control your data:
- Device Settings: Manage permissions for location, notifications, etc.
- In-App Settings: Control notification preferences and data sharing
- Account Deletion:
- Users without active subscriptions may request full deletion via the app or email
- Users
with active subscriptions must:
- First cancel their subscription
- Wait for the current billing period to end
- Then request account deletion
- During this waiting period, you may disable account visibility via the app
7. Data Retention
- Deleted accounts: retained for 30 days, then purged
- Active subscription accounts: data retained indefinitely
- Legal holds: data retained until resolution
- Users may request data export at any time
8. Tracking & Analytics
We use:
- Device identifiers: for authentication and analytics
- Usage metrics: for app improvements
- Crash reports: for diagnostics
- Location data: with explicit permission
Controls:
- GDPR and CCPA opt-out tools
- iOS App Tracking Transparency respected
- Preferences configurable in app or device settings
9. Children's Data
We do not knowingly collect data from minors under 18. Contact us at privacy@cleanerconnect.app to request data deletion if collected in error.
10. Security
We employ:

Despite safeguards, no system is 100% secure. Use of the Platform acknowledges this risk.

12. Your Rights by Jurisdiction
The following sections detail your rights under applicable laws, including GDPR, PIPEDA, CCPA/CPRA, and Mexican privacy law. These rights may vary depending on your jurisdiction.
12.1 Data Access & Export
You can request a complete copy of your personal data, which we will provide:
- In secure, machine-readable formats (JSON/CSV) when technically feasible
- With all non-user data redacted: We automatically exclude or anonymize any information not solely belonging to the requesting user

12.2 Correction and Updating
You have full control over your personal information:
- Self-Service Editing: Update most information directly in the app's Account Settings
- For Uneditable
Fields: Contact us at support@cleanerconnect.app if you
encounter:
- Fields you can't modify yourself
- System errors preventing updates
- Historical records requiring correction
We do our best to respond to all requests promptly and in a timely manner.
12.3 Deletion ("Right to be Forgotten")
Subject to legal or contractual exceptions, you may request the deletion of your personal data. This includes deletion from active systems, backups, and archives as reasonably possible.
Note that deletion requests will not apply if data retention is required by law, ongoing dispute resolution, or legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.
12.4 Objection to Processing
You may object to our processing of your personal data where processing is based on our legitimate interests or direct marketing. We will review and honor such objections unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds or legal obligations.
12.5 Restriction of Processing
You can request that we restrict the processing of your personal data temporarily in cases such as:
- Disputes regarding accuracy
- Legal claims
- Pending assessment of objection to processing
12.6 Withdrawal of Consent
Where we process personal data based on your explicit consent (e.g., location services, marketing communications), you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

12.7 Automated Systems & Restrictions
1. Report Review Process
- AI-Assisted Triage: Flags potential violations for human review
- Human-Approved Enforcement: Reports involving messages, images, profiles, or other content require explicit team review and approval before any action is taken
2. Urgent Request Policy
- Auto-Restriction Trigger:
- 3+ attempts to mark requests as "urgent" for future dates
- Applies only when the selected date is not the current day
- Immediate Effect: Account access will be automatically and indefinitely restricted without prior review, pending resolution
- Reversible: Contact support@cleanerconnect.com to appeal
3. Your Rights
- Request manual review of any automated action
- Receive explanation for restrictions within 72 hours
- Correct or permanently remove any erroneous flags
12.8 Marketing Communications
You may opt out of marketing emails, push notifications, and other promotional communications at any time via unsubscribe links or account settings. We do not send unsolicited marketing communications.
12.9 California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) Specific Rights
- Right to Know: Request information about categories and specific personal data collected, used, shared, or sold in the past 12 months.
- Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information collected, subject to exceptions.
- Right to Opt-Out: Direct us not to sell your personal information. We do not sell personal data as defined by CCPA.
- Non-Discrimination: You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights.
12.10 United Kingdom (UK GDPR) Specific Rights
- Supervisory Authority: You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
- Right of Access: You can request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to Rectification: You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
- Right to Erasure: You can request the deletion of your personal data, subject to legal exceptions.

12.11 European Union (GDPR) Specific Rights
- Supervisory Authority: You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
- Data Minimization and Purpose Limitation: We process only data necessary for the stated purposes.
12.12 Canada (PIPEDA) Specific Rights
- Right to Challenge Compliance: You may challenge our compliance with PIPEDA to the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
- Consent Management: We seek meaningful consent and provide you with understandable choices about data collection and use.
- Access to Information: You have the right to access your personal information and request corrections.
12.13 Mexico (LFPDPPP) Specific Rights
- ARCO Rights: You may exercise Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition rights by contacting us.

13. Disclaimers and Limitations
WE PROVIDE THE APP AND SERVICES "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND—EXPRESS OR IMPLIED—INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE ACCESS AND ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR SYSTEM ERRORS, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify CleanerConnect and its affiliates against claims arising from your:
- Use of the Platform
- Violation of this Policy
- Breach of applicable laws or third-party rights
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. All disputes shall be resolved in courts located within Delaware.
